I DON’T DESIGN STYLES.
I DESIGN HOW YOU WANT
TO EXIST INSIDE A SPACE.

I walk into a space and listen
to its history, its light, and to you.
From that conversation, I compose.

Sustainable Design in Playa Vista

Every space has
a story waiting
to be told.

Marbé Designs is an interior and spatial design studio based in Glendale, serving homes and businesses throughout Greater Los Angeles, with select projects elsewhere.

We bring an artist’s eye and a practical understanding of space to renovations, new construction, furnishings, lighting, and custom pieces. Our work begins with listening: what matters to you, what isn’t working, and what you want your space to make possible.

Whether you need direction for a particular space or a studio to guide a complete transformation, we begin by defining the scope, priorities, and investment together.

THE MIND
BEHIND THE WORK

ARTIST · DESIGNER · SPATIAL THINKER

Artist, designer, and spatial thinker, Marbé Briceno-Velázquez brings an instinct for composition, proportion, and storytelling to every space she creates. Born in Venezuela and shaped by her education in Miami, Spain, and creative experiences across Europe, her perspective moves fluidly between art, design, and the built environment.

She founded Marbé Designs in Los Angeles in 2017, creating residential and commercial interiors that are deeply personal, collected, and impossible to reduce to a single style.

ART. FUNCTION.

Playa Vista_7F

WHEN DESIGN IS CONCEIVED AS ART,
A SPACE BECOMES MORE THAN A PLACE TO INHABIT.
IT BECOMES AN EXPRESSION OF
WHO YOU ARE.

At Marbé Designs, art and function are inseparable. Our interior and spatial design process brings together proportion, materiality, lighting, custom millwork, detailed drawings, specifications, and construction coordination to create residential and commercial interiors that are both expressive and resolved. From the first site visit through final installation, every decision considers how a space is built, experienced, and lived in.

RESIDENTIAL　　 COMMERCIAL

“…always listening to my ideas, offering valuable suggestions, and making sure everything runs smoothly.”
ANCA COCAN - Los Angeles, CA.
"Marbé is the epitome of what I believe an exceptional designer should be."
Goldberg Family - Boca Raton, Fla.

SPACES THAT
KNOW YOU.

FIRST, WE LOOK CLOSELY.

Every project begins with a close reading of the space, or, for new construction, the plans and possibilities. We consider proportion, light, materials, and how people will use it, alongside the practical demands and ambitions of the project.
We work with homeowners, business owners, architects, builders, and developers. Tell us what you are planning, what is already underway, and where our perspective could contribute. From a focused interior design consultation to a complete design engagement, we define our role, scope, fees, and next steps before work begins. Through drawings, material studies, and collaboration, we develop a direction with a clear point of view and the detail to carry it through.
